FAW J7 Euro 6 Prime Mover
At the top of the range sits the FAW J7 Euro 6 Prime Mover, available in a 6×4 configuration and offered in two horsepower outputs:
- 560HP – 25,000kg GVM / 70,000kg GCM
- 660HP – 25,000kg GVM / 90,000kg GCM
Built for long-haul routes and high GCM combinations, the J7 is engineered for operators running serious freight across serious distances. Powered by a Euro 6 engine platform and fully ADR certified for Australian operation, it forms the backbone of FAW’s heavy-duty presence in this market.

FAW JH6 6×4 (Coming)
Beyond linehaul, FAW Trucks Australia is preparing to extend its capability into construction, infrastructure and vocational sectors with the FAW JH6 6×4 range.
Globally recognised in rigid and tipper configurations, the JH6 platform is designed for heavy loads, site work and demanding operating conditions. Its introduction into Australia will provide operators with a dedicated heavy-duty option for construction and specialised applications.
Australian specifications and final configurations will be confirmed as the rollout progresses.
Medium-duty rigid trucks
FAW JK6 (Coming)
Completing the capability ladder, the FAW JK6 is positioned for the medium-duty rigid segment – suited to urban delivery, regional freight and trade-based operations.
Typically configured as a 4×2 rigid, the JK6 is designed to deliver practical payload capacity, body flexibility and everyday usability. It is intended to offer operators a right-sized solution that bridges heavy prime movers and lighter commercial vehicles.
As FAW Trucks Australia continues to expand its national footprint, the JK6 will broaden the brand’s reach into the mid-weight category.
